Milo Marathon

What a fulfilling weekend last time for me and Clouds.

All of a sudden, a visit to witness an event became exciting when Clouds decided to join the 5K fun-run of MILO MARATHON.

"Mom, I am not here for nothing!", as she told me when she decided to sign up for the event at the last minute.

It was the 33rd National Milo Marathon in Roxas City, August 16, 2009. Thanks to our bring home of Nestle/Milo products and her certificate that she is very proud of....we really had good fun and with good friends around, too.

Indeed, she did it for 50 minutes as they were given an hour and 20 minutes to finished it, considering the ages of the runners...since it was just for fun, of course, she did not aim to win because she has to warm up and that it is not her everyday sports, too hehehe she loves basketball, valleyball, billiard, swimming and art.

At least, our bonding as Mom and daughter was worthwhile as I also don't want to get her bored during the weekend trip. If she is not painting, then she has to do something worthwhile. Otherwise, she can be a pain in the ass so to speak hehehe. She is an artist and am beginning to appreciate art because of her.

Oh well, on the other hand...our next beneficiary of project W.A.L.K. will be ready soon to for fitting and rehabilitation in Manila. Thank you to our benefactor and God bless you all!!!
