Alexander Alcantara, last month and this week, Jason Dela Cruz. Jason is in the picture sitting on the wheelchair (bigger) who joined my bday concert for a cause for the benefit of the handicapped children in the center, last April 18 with Mr. Matt Monro, Jr.
The reason? Not because they have short span of life and they are handicapped, but rather the family is so poor that the parents can't afford to send them to proper treatment. Tsk, tsk, sad thing to note, huh!
Wish I can do more. However, as God promised a new light for these angels, I can only pray for my friend Joanna, the manager of the STAC to stay stronger for the rest of the children. Wish the parents should also be determined to find ways to be able to save a simple cough and colds that leds to pneumonia, the reason these chidlen died.
Do we always have to blame POVERTY and IGNORANCE? I know it is easier said than done but for now, like Joanna, we are down with emotions for these adorable children.
May Alexander and Jason are now happier in God's embrace, with the choir of angels in heaven joining them singing!!!
